Thank you, Debbie. It has been storming regularly in Florida. I had a visit from my closest childhood friend, last week. We visited the Space Coast and Kennedy Space Center. At Canaveral National Seashore, a storm was brewing as we drove along the beachfront road. When we got out, there was too much lightening to venture further than the pier. But the colors of the ocean, the clouds and sky were intense and brilliantly blue, blue-gray and blue-greens, the background against the rippled sands. I wrote no haiku or other poetry, rather simply enjoyed the air and sights.

a gorgeous metaphor! such romantic images, especially for these hot summer nights we are having
